The latest guidance from the Scottish Government on Community Planning replaces the Single Outcome Agreement approach with the Local Outcome Improvement Plan (LOIP). The purpose of the LOIP development is to:
1. Demonstrate an understanding of which communities experience poorer outcomes;
2. [Understand] how participation helped identify this understanding;
3. Translate this understanding into a genuine plan that reflects CPP priorities and those priorities must deal with the inequalities identified;
4. Demonstrate a link between local outcomes and National Outcomes;
5. LOIP must identify the differences that are targeted for communities;
6. Identify the resources partners are deploying to contribute to the outcomes;
7. In particular the resources aimed at prevention, reduction of inequalities and building community capacity.
A programme and timetable for the development of the required workload for the LOIP has agreed a deadline of 01 October 2017.
Evidence for the LOIP can be found grouped by ASG area below.
